Jean Galler was born into desserts! From the family patisserie opened by his grandfather in 1930, he retains the pleasure of working with cream and butter.
At 16, he fell in love with chocolate, a living substance that fascinated him. He experimented, created and pleased the palates of those around him. To develop his knowledge and discover new flavours, he studied in Basel (Switzerland), then with Gaston Lenôtre in Paris.
At 21 years old, he launched his own company. 28 years on, the founding principles of the company remain the same: passion for chocolate, pride in perfection, constant creativity.
After having built up its reputation in his native region, Galler can now be found throughout the country in more than 2,000 sales outlets. Today, Galler also boasts a network of shops in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Japan, Lebanon, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and England... Our company has often been honoured with official recognitions. The most prestigious is undeniably the appointment as “Belgian Royal Warrant Holder”, which we received in 1994. In 2002, Galler received the “Innovation Prize” for its concept of “CHOCOLAT-THE©” at the Brussels Franchise Fair. You will find the Galler kiosk offering its delicious praline waffles, its legendary hot chocolate, not forgetting the ice cream.
