Over 2,000m of origami garlands

At the end of February, this project was launched in all primary schools in the province of Liege.
The common objective was to make as much origami as possible to show the children, but also everyone else, that small gestures combined with a common goal give a great result.

In one month, almost 50 schools, with a total of more than 3,000 students, responded to the call and made more than 40,000 origami pieces. This is how 2,250m of origami garlands have been adorning the roof of the centre for a colourful reopening under the auspices of Spring. Surprised by the success of this challenge and the highly motivated participation of the different institutions through the teachers and especially the students, we set up other creations based on the origami received.
